Seven of Nine will be captain of the Enterprise-G

No snark here: the Odyssey class is awesome and it’s ridiculous they’re decommissioning it, even if we assume the asinine 2386–2404 service history, which is-to be clear-asinine.

Part of the promo information for Season 3 was that the Odyssey-class Enterprise-F is being decommissioned on Frontier Day. Leaving aside the fact that this is a stupid storytelling decision, I think it’s a pretty safe bet Seven will become a Captain at the end of the season. It’s what Seven wants, it’s what Riker wants, it’s what the fans want. The only question is whether she’ll become captain of the Titan-A or my prediction…
